Here’s the email response i received from Ikea today when i asked about the opening date for the Denver store:

“We continue to move forward with plans for the future IKEA Centennial. We have received all approvals from the city, closed on purchase of the land, and now are meeting with consultants and contractors to finalize plans. We are thrilled with this progress, but at this time still do not have a timeframe for beginning construction or opening the store. “

Uh oh, coleen. You just found out what happens when you put your real email address in the clear on a Web site. All the spambots on the Web will harvest it and add it to the spam lists. Most of those offers are totally automated, and now that they have your address, you’ll start getting tons more spam. For temporary, disposable email addresses, you can use something like http://www.mailinator.com, which eats spam for fun.

Cannot wait any longer – planning a trip to the Draper,UT to pick out new kitchen.

I worked at IKEA in the Boston, MA area and no, they do not have a wedding registry. But they do sell gift cards!
